We are living in pivotal times, with challenges which are socio-political, cultural and spiritual in nature. There is a sense of people wanting to find sustainable ways to keep engaging and meeting these challenges. The Buddhist tradition offers dharmic and meditative practices which can support our aspirations.

There will be meditation, talks, workshops, and simple land based connection and rituals. There will be an opportunity to stocktake your levels of resilience and reflect on what needs to be transformed to balance out what is depleted.
The retreat will be led by a team with experience of engaged Buddhism and activism.
Amaragita, Rose and Sinhaketu
Amaragita - My background is in community development and working with young people at risk and the professionals that support them. I worked for various social change movements and I have been a trainer facilitator and coach for 35 years. My passions are meditation and creating spaces for deep inquiry and celebration of the human condition. I have been leading intergenerational retreats and retreats for mothers for many years. I have engaged in actions with Extinction Rebellion and am keen to strengthen and deepen my Eco-sattva spirit. Currently, I am chair of Buddhafield and have been a member of the Triratna Buddhist Order and Community for 21 years.
Rose - I am a Processwork psychotherapist in training and conflict facilitator. I have been involved in campaigns and actions with climate and social justice groups throughout my adult life. I have been part of the Triratna community and Buddhafield for over 18 years and have been coordinator of the Green Earth Awakening Camp since its formation. I am excited by ways of relating and organising that support all aspects of ourselves, and our communities, towards effective collaboration and growth
Sinhaketu -I have been involved in XR since the ‘5 Bridges’ Campaign in London where I cut my teeth as a De-escalator with the NVC XR team. I am a XR de-escalator trainer. I specialise in community building through Focusing, NVC and Mindfulness and shall be introducing ‘Co-liberation Companioning’ on this retreat.
