Buddhafield

On this page you can find aout about what the Buddhafield Festival Site Décor Team does, what we need you to be able to commit to and how to volunteer.

It was pretty much one of the most beautiful experiences of my whole life.

The Decor Team for the festival is responsible for making the site look like a festival..! It is the colourful glue that holds all the structures together and gives it a magic quality. To be part of this team you would need be available to arrive between Saturday 6 July and, at the very latest Monday 8 July and stay on for a couple of days after the festival to help take it all down again. You do, of course get the days of the festival off.

If you are interested in being a part of the “design process” i.e. brainstorming ideas please tell me so in the initial email contact. We do try to have a loose idea of what we want to create before the set up starts but within that framework there will be a certain amount of creative freedom for volunteers. We want you to make this Festival your own! The theme is year is “A Fire in the Heart”, which heavily influences the site décor (although anything heart shaped is already off limits!). We need a few strong workers for big structural work as well as creative artists and makers. We will give priority to those who can commit to arriving early.

In exchange for working, we would give you all your food while you are on site as well as a free ticket and any necessary vehicle tickets. If coming by bus or train, you’d need to go to Taunton and we’d pick you up from there.
