We are currently looking for alternative sites on which to hold the Buddhafield festival.

The festival in its current form requires about 30 acres of land split into 3 areas, car parking, camping and events. Approximately half the site needs to be flat enough for public camping and the erection of large marquees and other structures.
We require access to mains water for health reasons but can install temporary plumbing to where water is needed.
We require that the site has two independent access routes to the centre of the site for emergency vehicle access.
We need to be able to secure the site against unauthorised access, ditch and hedgerow reinforced where required by fencing has proved adequate on our previous/current sites.
We require the site for at least 14 days starting in early July.
For the last 5 years we have been granted a Public Entertainments Licence by Mid Devon District Council, and have been able to fulfil all of the requirements with regard to the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm, that they have requested.
Buddhafield Events Ltd. who organise and run the event have all the relevant public and employee liability insurances.
With a gathering of this size, being entertained by amplified sound systems, there will inevitably be some noise spillage from the site. None of the sound systems we use are larger than 3k and as such events go our event is relatively quiet. We have remained well within the noise limits set as a requirement of our licence.
We strive to be as gentle on the environment as we can, all of the electric power comes from alternative power sources, wind, solar or human! We use composing toilets so that our waste is returned to the earth. We serve vegan, organic food. We promote the event as Alcohol and Drug free.
