Welcome to the Village!

You don’t have to be a practising Buddhist to come, but a strong interest is encouraged.

Phase I, 3 - 9 August 2018:

On this work retreat, come and build a village with friends and family, to create the space and atmosphere of community. There will be structures to build, land to clear, wood to chop; we will explore how to relax and stay open in the midst of activity. There will be daily support meetings, meditation, activities, and time to simply unfold into the land. A beautiful opportunity to practice with your children. Children over 7 welcome.

Phase II, 11 - 18 August 2018: Dance of Life and Death

With relaxed bodies, loving hearts, and peaceful minds, we will create a positive community on our beautiful Dartmoor land. There will be meditation for all, talks, yoga, hot tubs, games and play, creativity and green crafts. We will acknowledge our humanity together, by recognising the preciousness of our lives and reflecting on the short time we have on this beloved earth.
